Nanofat – Stem cells

Presentation
Nanofat uses our own fat to rejuvenate the skin. Improving the appearance of the skin is essential if we are to achieve a harmonious, optimised result as part of a comprehensive treatment programme.
Gentle liposuction is performed, usually on the thighs or behind the knees.
The fat removed is immediately purified and prepared by emulsification. This produces a liquid containing your stem cells and growth factors in very high concentrations.
As Nanofat is very fluid, it can be injected with very fine needles or cannulas.
Nanofat is also a preparation that can be injected near the surface of the skin without the risk of creating visible nodules. As a matter of fact, its preparation goes so far as to remove the “mature” fat cells, so there is no risk of creating volume.
Objectives
Nanofat aims to improve the skin’s appearance. It is not a filling technique.
Nanofat can be used on the face, cleavage, hands or the rest of the body.
Nanofat is particularly interesting for treating:
- Fine lines on the lower eyelids
- Dark circles
- Fine lines on the upper lip (“bar code”)
- The appearance of the skin on the cheeks, neck and forehead
- The appearance of the skin on the cleavage
- The back of the hands
- “Crepey skin” on knees and arms
In combination with other techniques
Nanofat works in synergy with other aesthetic medical and surgical techniques.
Nanofat is very often used in the operating theatre in conjunction with eyelid surgery (or “blepharoplasty”). This makes it possible to tackle the various components of facial ageing in a more global and harmonious way.
Nanofat is generally combined with fat transfer techniques using micro-lipofilling. Micro-lipofilling can be used to fill dark circles, hollows in the upper eyelids or, in a very soft way, a nasolabial fold or the temporal region, for example.
Nanofat can also be combined with radiofrequency techniques such as Facetite, Bodytite or Morpheus to treat sagging skin.
Furthermore, by combining these techniques, patients can make the best use of the socio-professional isolation following surgery (usually 5 to 12 days). Nanofat may cause minor bruising or oedema, as with any facial injection.
The result gradually appears two to six months after the operation. It is a regeneration technique that stimulates our fibroblasts over the long term.
Nanofat has now become a benchmark technique for treating the skin’s appearance.
Depending on your wishes and needs, Dr Olivier CLAUDE will present you with the best strategy for an optimised result.
