Facetite – Radiofrequency

This is a new technology called RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Liposuction), certified by the FDA (USA), which represents a safe, gentle and precise solution for facial rejuvenation and beautification.

Presentation

Facetite provides a “minimally invasive” treatment that delivers results previously only achievable through surgical procedures (and therefore, with scarring). This technology uses bipolar radiofrequency energy, which is transformed into heat to retract sagging skin and eliminate fat.

Facetite thus makes it possible to sculpt the body by increasing skin tone, with smoother, redefined contours (high-definition liposuction).

Who can benefit from Facetite?

Facetite is a completely new solution for patients who want to significantly reduce sagging skin and avoid scarring. Recovery time is also rapid. Facetite combined with liposuction provides a more comfortable after-effect than liposuction alone. Bipolar radiofrequency is used at the start of the procedure to prepare the fat, which is then gently suctioned away once it has been liquefied by the Facetite.

The Facetite is primarily intended for patients with moderate sagging.

Facetite technology

The Facetite continuously monitors and regulates temperature, thus avoiding the risk of burns.
The Facetite’s real-time thermal control is twofold: deep in the fatty areas and on the surface of the skin. This means that sagging skin can be treated as effectively as possible, while maintaining maximum safety.

What areas can be treated with Facetite?

Facetite can be used on virtually the entire face and neck.

Procedure

How does the Facetite treatment work?

Facetite is a fine cannula coupled to two probes. One of the probes is associated with the cannula. It is inserted under the skin through a small incision (about 2 mm) and is used to deliver the radiofrequency energy. The second probe slides along the skin surface and receives the energy emitted by the internal probe. This is the very principle of bipolar radiofrequency, which sends energy between two probes. The internal probe heats the tissue to a temperature of between 58° and 65°C. The energy becomes progressively gentler as it is transmitted to the surface of the skin, where the temperature developed by the Facetite drops to between 36° and 40°. The parameters are personalised for each patient and each area.
The Facetite cannula is moved over the entire area to be treated, releasing energy between the two probes. The heat generated liquefies the fat cells, causing the skin to shrink and stimulating collagen production.

Procedure

What happens after a Facetite treatment?

Bruises generally disappear between the 5th and 15th day.
Swelling is usually moderate.
Their resorption is accelerated by gentle massage.

When do the results of the Facetite treatment appear?

Results appear gradually over the first year. After one month, the most significant oedemas are reabsorbed. After three months, the contours begins to look more defined. The synthesis of collagen triggered by Facetite is a gradual process that will produce results over the long term.

Facetite therefore treats sagging skin, usually in conjunction with high-definition liposuction – which focuses on fat. The synergy of the two technologies provides optimal facial enhancement without the infamous surgical scars.
